Attention Cozumel Property Owners! The Cozumel property tax and garbage discounts for 2021 have been announced.
It’s that time of year again! This article has the information you need in order to pay your 2021 property taxes and garbage. This year you can pay online or in person.
Be sure to pay early and take advantage of the discounts!
Property Tax (Predial) Discounts:
- 25% discount if paid in January
- 20% discount if paid in February
- 15% discount if paid in March
Garbage (Basura) Discounts:
- 20% discount if paid in January
- 15% discount if paid in February
- 10% discount if paid in March
Note: If you have an Inapam card, you get a 50% discount all year long! You will need two copies of your Inapam and residency card (front & back).

This year there are several locations for paying. Be sure to note that one location is specifically for people with disabilities and retired (Inapam card holders).
- Palacio Municipal: Calle 13 Sur entre Av Rafael Melgar y Calle Gonzaol Guerrero
Monday – Friday: 8am – 8pm
Saturday: 9am – 2pm - Estancia del Adulto Mayor: Calle 3 Sur entre 50 y 50 Av Sur Bis
(Note: Exclusively for people with disabilities, pensioners, retired)
Monday-Friday: 8am – 3pm - Oficinas del Registro Civil: 30 Av entre Calle 37 y 39
Monday-Friday: 8am – 3pm - Parque 10 de Abril: Calle 10 Norte entre 45 Av y 50 Av
Monday – Friday: 8am-3pm - Chedraui Transversal: Av Felix Gonzalez Canto
Monday-Friday: 8am-8pm
Saturday: 9am-2pm
